Hi, I am AL Orloff, the President of Voyager Components, Inc. I am most proud of my employees and thankful for our strong customer support. The key to our success and great reputation has come from our employees running the company as the customers would like to see it.
A mistake made without an improvement is a mistake made in vane. I believe in the continual improvement of all aspects of everything every moment of every day. I encourage innovative solutions and gather, design, test, and implement improvements that will better serve our customers and employees while maintaining the preservation of past improvements. This allows me to mastermind, simulate, and spearhead new company ventures.
If I am not at the office, I am probably with my wife seeking the next thrill or adventure on a board, boat, plane, or under water. I am an artist and a musician who appreciates a wailing song and a good guitar. I speak Russian and English. To relax, I enjoy writing or reading books on psychology, business, Q-physics, and astronomy....oh yeah and sometimes I like to sleep. See ya!
Life is short. make fun of it.--??

I have 15yrs experience in the electronics industry and specialize in providing solutions and solving challenges. It's what I do. It's all I know. My personal philosophy is "less is more". I try to always get you the info that you need without all the fluff.
We have tailored Voyager to the same model. I enjoy surfing, hiking, & real estate. I am experienced in rental management, minor & major rehabs, buying & selling below market value, and coaching people to avoid foreclosures.

Rest in Peace David Shubin.
David loved life, and attacked it at a feverish pace. He had the unique ability to blend an insane pursuit of fun with a higher moral standard. Anyone who ever met or spoke with David was certainly affected by his infectious energy, and chances are, quickly came to love him as much as we do.David, you will ALWAYS hold a special place in our hearts, memories and prayers.

My name is David Hazel. I am a graduate of George Fox University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. I have done R&D for Xerox, programming for IBM, and freelance embedded development in the Silviculture industry before joining the team at Voyager Components.
Our customers value having an engineer so readily available in Voyager's team. We have an intimate understanding of the parts we sell, and I take the time to personally inspect many of the parts which cross our shipping bay. Knowing the applications many of our parts are put to, I am able to increase the value added by our already industry-wise sales staff. I am highly detail oriented and accurate, things that our customers appreciate in our excellent order quality. We really do give you the best.
In my off-time I am a bass player in an eclectic americana/folk band, an on-road and off-road motorcycle rider, server administrator, and I also teach a class once a week. I usually have a book of some kind that I am perusing, and enjoy learning and growing on all levels.
One of my favorite quotes is:
"It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad." -- C.S. Lewis

Hi I'm Jon Battin, and I've worked at Voyager since early 2008. I started in the warehouse where I learned the "basics" of components. After I became familiar with the parts I was given a shot at sales. I didn't dissapoint and here I am today, writing this bio.
In my free time I play guitar and drums for a few bands, go camping (after all, it is Oregon), and drive my car- fast.

Hi! I’m Patty, I am your friendly Customer Service specialist. I focus my energy into making you happy in three departments; After Quote Services, Research and Marketing, and Order Processing. I'm great at finding solutions.
Previously a Proprietor (for 25 years) in the Manufacturing/Repair Business, my fabric showroom was well stocked with choices from around the world at every price range. As a professional Straight Line Seamstress, matching stripes and patterns with impeccable precision was my specialty.
During my 8 year with Voyager Components, we have evolved into a Team of Skilled and Influential individuals who’s tactics of ingenuity and diligence bring you the best product and delivery the Industry has to offer. We provide Genuine Parts, data sheets, and photos of stock at hand.
I enjoy spending time with my family, our 3 dogs, 1 cat, and providing support on my daughters FFA project (earning her SAE with mini-herfords and sheep keeps us busy with many transportation opportunities). I also fill my time with landscaping, reading, and music. I attend and play in Community Concerts (piano and clarinet) including the world renown Mt. Angel Oktoberfest.
I also enjoy Camping at the coast with long walks exploring our lovely Oregon shoreline and visiting historical sites and learning about their history (Seattle WA was very interesting).

My name is Mehile Orloff (some call me “Mo”). I am proud to be a co-founder of this company, and endlessly enjoy the rewards of working behind the scenes. Frequently , I put myself to work as the grease for this great machine, and keep things moving smoothly so that each person and department can work efficiently to earn their well deserved praises.
My favorite quote is “Why think zebra when donkey will do”. As more of a reminder to myself than anything, it has nearly become a mantra.
I'd say that I'm a “jack of all trades, and a master of maybe only a few”. Solving problems, regardless of the arena, is what keeps me going. This curiosity and the hunt for new challenges has led me into a wide array of experiences, ranging from the artistic (such as poetry and photography), to the ambitious (such as building my own home), to the technical (such as Manager of Technology and Communications). I recently got a chance to show off a little as the lead code&design manager for our new web site (work in progress). What a blast!
Way back, when I knew what free time was, ;o) (I am a happily married father of two), I'd spend as much time outdoors as possible. Sometimes I'd do a little hiking or camping, sometimes a little surfing, sometimes a little fishing ... basically, if it's outdoors (especially near or on water), I enjoy it. When the weather was sloppy, I'd bang away on my drums a bit, or tinker with some sort of invention.
